• Identifying fundamental situations and functions in cultural communication processes from an historical perspective; presenting and explaining these situations and functions using theoretical and practical models
• Expanding and systematizing professional knowledge in aesthetics and cultural studies, including the acquisition and appraisal of information
• Collecting, presenting, discussing, and appraising project ideas of artists’ and one’s own using the concepts and criteria of aesthetics and cultural studies
• Developing and supporting independent positions
